Winter Hike

A gentle hike through snow-covered fields, and into areas you didn’t know existed on the farm. Take yourself on a tour of the farm, see the infamous abandoned vehicles among the cedar wood, follow coyote, deer and wild turkey trails, watch hawks soar across the sky, and enjoy nature in its all-season glory.

Look for the pink directional markers to guide you – like the Bruce trail. Distance is about 2km over rolling, snowy hills. This takes anywhere from 45min – 1 hour.

Snowshoes and cross country skis are welcome and encouraged – these are not groomed trails. If it snows, it’ll be a bit more exercise!

Only 5 tickets every hour are available for purchase, ensuring a safe, exclusive, and quiet experience.

For this experience, you will be using our personal entrance address, and parking in front of the 19th century bank barn:

We ask all visitors respect our privacy by not going into the barn or wandering the farm outside of the pink directional markers.

There will be a portable washroom available for use near the parking area.

We will not have a shop set up, nor be welcoming you – this is a completely safe, non-contact experience. However, if you’d like to order from the shop and choose free local pick-up, we can have your order ready for you.
