Nourish and protect your skin with our 100% natural daytime anti-aging facial oil. Combining the benefits of sea buckthorn, jojoba, peppermint and sage essential oils, your skin will look and feel softer, brighter and younger. Made with essential oil from herbs grown right on our own farm.
Sea buckthorn has been known for centuries upon centuries as an ultimate in skincare. Loaded with antioxidants, vitamin C and E, 3x more vitamin A than carrots, and as the only plant to contain omega 3, 6, 9 AND 7, sea buckthorn is the best when it comes to protecting, nourishing, and rejuvenating. It promotes skin hydration, elasticity, and skin regeneration, and even helps treat and prevent acne.
Peppermint oil has calming, softening, toning and anti-inflammatory effects, as well as antimicrobial properties. Peppermint oil is a natural antiseptic with the ability to wakeup worn out skin and manage oil production. It is also touted as energy boosting, and one of the best defenses against blackheads and itchy, dry skin.
The antioxidants in sage essential oil prevent damage by free radicals, which would otherwise speed up aging by creating wrinkles or breaking down muscle and joint tissue. The antioxidants and antiseptics in sage essential oil fight against these destructive agents, preventing or reversing some of the negative effects free radicals create. And as if that wasn’t enough to convince you, sage oil is also anti-inflammatory (goodbye angry redness!), antimicrobial (eliminating bacteria that causes acne), and anti-fungal.
Jojoba oil is yet another antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant moisturizer. Although jojoba oil is a botanical substance, its makeup is so similar to the oil (sebum) your body naturally produces that your skin can’t tell the difference. This makes it less likely to build up on your skin and clog your pores, leading to fewer breakouts and less severe acne. Similar to peppermint and sea buckthorn, all these wonderful properties make it a soldier against premature aging, fine wrinkles, dryness, and over-producing of oil.
Although seemingly backwards, applying oil to the skin can actually reduce breakouts and acne. Often, our skin dries out too much, which creates and overproduction of oil and leads to clogged pores and, eventually, acne or pimples. Oil can help level out our skin’s natural production, and actually helps keep it cleaner.
Application: to be used in your morning skincare regiment. After cleansing and toning, gently apply 3-5 drops to face and neck.
